Adviser for $5bn Canadian bridge
Transport Canada has selected a PricewaterhouseCoopers team to provide financial consulting, engineering and technical services for this project, which would link Montreal and the South Shore.
The team will handle the business case, which includes the cost, risk and construction analysis for the bridge over a period of 18 months.
The 10-year, C$5bn (US$4.8bn) plan to build a replacement toll-bridge in Champlain, Ottawa, was announced in October last year. Transport Minister Denis Lebel said the project would be carried out under a public-private partnership.
