French uni selects bidder
The French Ministry of Education announced that Eiffage beat competition from three other bidders: CDC, DIF and Vinci and a team which included Edifice, GCC and Itex.
The project involves financing, design, construction, operation and maintenance of buildings and equipment at three sites at the University: Pilsi (pôle Innovation Logiciels et Systèmes Intelligents), EDD (environnement et Développement Durable) and Beesy (biologie environnementale et systémique).
The contract duration is 25-30 years and also includes waste disposal and the removal of underground networks.
French bank Societe Generale is believed to be lined up for debt funding.
