Six bid on €170m Italy hospital PPP

The following companies submitted official expressions of interest for the deal to design, build and maintain the upgrade, expansion and renovation of the hospital:

• A team comprising Italian Construction, Conduct for Italian Water, CNS and Olicar
• The Pizzarotti consortium, also comprising CO GE and Sirams
• Astaldi with Vianini
• A team comprising Manutencoop, Eureca, GDN, Maco, Hospital Services, Italy Spa Services, CIR, First Real and CVL
• Impregilo and Pessina joint venture
• A team comprising Guerrato, Co Ve Co, Panzeri, Camst and GSI Resources

The list for the 30-year contract was expected in March but was pushed back due to the bidders needing more time to complete documentation. A preferred bidder is expected by the end of the year.
