Greek waste EoI announced

Expressions of interest have been invited for a new waste treatment facility in Serres, Greece.
The scope of the project involves the design, financing, construction, maintenance and operation of the facilities related to the waste treatment unit, and fulfilling the environmental goals set by Community Directives.The total annual amount of waste to be treated has been estimated at 90,000 tons, and the project will be co-funded by EU funds.
The private partner will be selected for a PPP contract of 27 years through the competitive dialogue process.
Closing date for submissions is 29 May.
