Virginia appoints transport advisers

Seven consultant teams have been selected to help Virginia evaluate and develop its transport P3s.
The Commonwealth of Virginia's Office of Transportation Public-Private Partnerships (OTP3) announced the following teams to assist with business management and financial services capabilities:
- Halcrow
- Infrastructure Management Group
- KPMG
- Mercator Advisors
- Public Financial Management
- Reynolds, Smith and Hill
- CDM Smith
"The OTP3 has been charged with creating an environment that encourages private investment in our infrastructure and proactively identifies, assesses and implements the commonwealth's priority transportation projects," said Secretary of Transportation Sean T. Connaughton.
The OTP3 was created by the secretary of transportation in December 2010 to focus on the identification, development and delivery of P3 projects across all modes of transportation in Virginia.
